Ready-to-use office desktop

The Dell OptiPlex 990 Mini Tower arrives with Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit installed and a USB keyboard and mouse in the box. A 2nd Gen Intel Core i7-2600 quad-core processor running at 3.40 GHz handles everyday business applications and web browsing. 16 GB of DDR3 RAM and a 512 GB SSD paired with a 1 TB hard drive provide responsive boot times and ample file storage.

Check power and expansion space

The 265 W power supply limits the graphics cards you can add without an upgrade. Verify that the Mini Tower chassis fits your desk area and that the 240-pin DDR3 slots match any memory modules you plan to install later. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000 drives standard office displays through the available video outputs.

Steady throughput for long sessions

The quad-core CPU maintains its 3.40 GHz base clock during extended workloads such as large spreadsheet calculations or background backups. The 512 GB SSD keeps the operating system and active projects responsive while the 1 TB hard drive absorbs continuous write streams without slowing the primary volume. Gigabit Ethernet sustains network file transfers over hours.
