OptiPlex 990 SFF desktop with Windows XP Pro

The Dell OptiPlex 990 SFF is a small form factor desktop computer powered by an Intel Core i7-2600 processor running at 3.4 GHz. It comes with 4GB DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive, integrated Intel HD Graphics 2500, and a DVD+/-RW optical drive. Windows XP Professional is pre-installed with all drivers, and a USB Wi-Fi adapter supporting 2.4G and 5G connectivity is included.

Organisations running legacy Windows XP applications

This system targets organisations that must run legacy software tied to Windows XP Professional and the Intel Core i7-2600 platform. It is not suited for buyers who need a modern operating system, greater memory capacity, solid-state storage, or discrete graphics performance.

Windows XP Pro pre-installed with all drivers

The decisive factor is the genuine Windows XP Professional installation with all drivers already configured. If the purchasing requirement is a ready-to-deploy Windows XP environment on supported Dell hardware, this unit meets it; otherwise a current-generation platform should be considered.
