Sustained 12W Output Behaviour
The switching design maintains a continuous 12W maximum across the full voltage range without derating for short bursts. Inner-positive, outer-negative polarity is fixed on every supplied tip, so devices requiring the opposite polarity cannot be powered. Voltage selection is manual via a physical slider; choosing an incorrect setting risks damage to equipment that lacks internal protection. The 5-inch cable length keeps the brick close to the device during extended operation.
Barrel-Plug Interface Limits
Compatibility stops at the eight provided tip geometries: 5.5x2.1mm, 5.5x2.5mm, 4.8x1.7mm, 4.0x1.7mm, 3.5x1.35mm, 3.0x1.0mm, 2.5x0.7mm and Micro USB. Devices using proprietary connectors, larger barrel sizes or USB-C power delivery fall outside the adapter's reach. Polarity cannot be reversed, and the 1A current ceiling excludes higher-draw appliances such as laptop chargers or motor-driven toys.
