Questions about this item

What MacBook models can this 70 W USB-C adapter charge?

It supports MacBook Pro 13 and 14 inch models from 2016 to 2025, the 12 inch 2015 (A1534, A1706, A1707, A1708) and MacBook Air 13 inch from 2018 to 2025.

Can I keep using my older 61 W or 45 W USB-C cables with this adapter?

Yes, the adapter negotiates PD profiles of 20.3 V / 3 A, 14.5 V / 2 A, 9 V / 3 A and 5.2 V / 2.4 A, so legacy cables that meet those voltages will work.

How do I confirm the adapter is delivering the correct power after I plug it in?

Check that the MacBook shows a charging indicator and that System Information lists a 70 W USB-C power source with the negotiated voltage matching one of the supported PD profiles.
