Precision 3620 tower for everyday work

The Dell Precision 3620 is a compact tower desktop built around a quad-core Intel Core i5-6500 running at 3.20 GHz with a 3.60 GHz turbo boost. It ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and includes an RGB keyboard and mouse set. The system suits students, home-office users and casual gamers who want a ready-to-use machine without building one themselves.

16 GB DDR4 memory and 256 GB SSD with 64 GB ceiling

Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 RAM handle typical multitasking, web browsing and office suites comfortably, while the 256 GB solid-state drive keeps boot and application load times short. The board supports up to 64 GB of memory, so users who later need more headroom for heavier workloads can add modules without replacing the platform.

GT 1030 graphics and front-panel convenience

A dedicated NVIDIA GT 1030 card with 2 GB GDDR5 provides HDMI and DisplayPort outputs for dual-monitor setups and accelerates casual gaming and video playback beyond integrated graphics. The tower chassis offers four front USB ports and two audio jacks for easy peripheral access, while a single RJ45 port handles wired networking.

Questions about this item

Will my existing DDR4 memory modules work alongside the 16GB already installed in this Precision 3620?

Yes, the system uses DDR4 and supports up to 64GB total, so your compatible DDR4 sticks can be added to the existing 16GB.

How can I confirm the NVIDIA GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 is active after I set up the desktop?

Open Device Manager in Windows 11 Pro, expand Display adapters, and verify the GT 1030 appears; the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs on the card will then drive your monitor.

Does the box include a monitor or only the tower, keyboard and mouse?

The package contains the Precision 3620 tower, an RGB keyboard and mouse combo, and a power cord; a display is not included and must be purchased separately.
