Precision 5530 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 5530 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation built around an 8th Gen Intel six-core i7-8850H processor and dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P1000 graphics with 4GB GDDR5 memory. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, 16GB DDR4 RAM and a 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. The UHD touch display runs at 3840 x 2160 on an IPS panel with 72% colour gamut.

Check power and ports before ordering

The unit includes a Dell AC adapter; verify the connector matches your regional mains plug. Connectivity provides two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one Thunderbolt 3 port with four-lane PCIe, one HDMI 2.0 output and a headphone/microphone combo jack. Wireless networking uses a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth combo module. No Ethernet port is present.

Aluminium chassis with dual-fan cooling

The platinum-silver chassis uses aluminium construction and a dual-fan thermal design to manage sustained workloads. The InfinityEdge display reduces bezel width while the touch layer supports multi-touch input. Thunderbolt 3 enables single-cable docking and external GPU enclosures. HDMI 2.0 drives one external 4K display at 60 Hz. The combo audio jack handles headset use without a dongle.
