Mobile workstation for creative professionals

The Dell Precision 5530 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation built for creative professionals who need color-accurate visuals and certified graphics drivers. It pairs an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8850H six-core processor with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. The UHD 3840 x 2160 IPS touch display covers 72 % color gamut for precise proofing.

Sustained performance under load

The hexa-core i7-8850H runs at 2.60 GHz base and can reach 4.30 GHz with Turbo Boost across 12 threads. The dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P1000 with 4 GB GDDR5 memory delivers stable frame rates in CAD and 3D rendering sessions. Dual fans move air through the slim chassis to maintain clocks during extended workloads without throttling.

Premium build and daily connectivity

A platinum silver aluminum chassis houses the InfinityEdge display and Precision-grade keyboard. Thunderbolt 3 provides x4 PCIe bandwidth for external GPUs or fast storage arrays. HDMI 2.0 drives a second 4K monitor at 60 Hz. Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and a combo audio jack handle peripherals without adapters.
