Precision 5530 UHD mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 5530 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation with a 3840 x 2160 UHD touchscreen and IPS panel. It runs on an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8850H six-core processor at 2.60 GHz with Turbo up to 4.30 GHz. The system includes 32 GB DDR4 RAM, a 2 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, and dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P1000 graphics with 4 GB GDDR5 memory. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Suited for colour-critical touch workflows

Creative professionals who need accurate colour on a touch display will benefit from the 72% colour gamut panel and Quadro driver stability. The Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI 2.0 ports support external monitors and fast peripherals. Buyers who need more than 32 GB memory or a higher-tier GPU for heavy 3D rendering should consider other configurations. The 6-core CPU handles multi-threaded CAD and video tasks within its thermal envelope.

3840 x 2160 touch display decides fit

The 15.6-inch UHD touchscreen is the specification that determines whether this Precision 5530 matches the workflow. Its 3840 x 2160 resolution and multi-touch input suit direct pen or finger interaction for design review and annotation. If the workflow does not require touch or native 4K output, a non-touch Full HD model would save power and cost. The panel’s 72% colour gamut covers standard sRGB workflows.
