Precision 5560 Xeon mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 5560 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation built around an Intel Xeon processor with a minimum speed of 2.60GHz. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and 32GB of memory, targeting professionals who need ISV-certified stability for CAD, rendering or data-analysis workloads on the move. The UHD display delivers a 3840 x 2400 pixel grid for detailed visual work.

NVIDIA RTX A2000 graphics and 128GB SSD

A dedicated NVIDIA RTX A2000 GPU handles GPU-accelerated applications without relying on system memory. The 128GB solid-state drive provides the operating system and active project space; capacity may range from 120GB to 128GB, so large asset libraries will require external or cloud storage. Two memory slots are present in total, with 32GB already installed. Bluetooth and a webcam support remote collaboration.

Suited for certified mobile workflows.

This unit suits engineers and designers who value Xeon reliability, a high-resolution 15.6-inch panel and professional graphics in a portable chassis. Buyers who need extensive local storage for massive datasets or who want a pristine cosmetic appearance should look elsewhere, as the reconditioned chassis shows moderate scratches, scuffs and possible minor cracks.

Questions about this item

What limits the Xeon 2.60GHz CPU during sustained workloads?

The 32GB of installed memory and 128GB SSD set the practical ceiling for data-heavy tasks, while the 15.6 inch UHD panel at 3840 x 2400 keeps the GPU fed with pixels.

How does the RTX A2000 behave for noise, heat or power when the laptop runs all day?

The dedicated RTX A2000 draws extra power under continuous load, so the cooling fans spin up and the chassis warms noticeably during extended rendering or compute sessions.

What must I already own to use the 3840 x 2400 UHD screen and 32GB RAM?

The 15.6 inch 3840 x 2400 panel and 32GB memory are built in, so only a compatible power adapter and Windows 11 Pro licence are needed to start working.
