Precision 5820 Tower Workstation

The Dell Precision 5820 is a mid-tower workstation built for professional workloads that demand certified stability. It ships with an Intel Xeon W-2133 six-core processor, 16GB of registered ECC DDR4 memory and a 500GB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and digitally activated.

16GB ECC memory and 500GB NVMe storage

The 16GB DDR4 2666MHz kit occupies two of eight slots and leaves headroom up to the platform maximum of 256GB. Registered ECC modules protect data integrity in long-running compute tasks. The single 500GB NVMe drive provides fast boot and application load times, though capacity may require expansion for large project libraries.

950W Gold power supply and Quadro P2000 graphics

A 950-watt 80 Plus Gold certified power supply delivers 90% efficiency and ample reserve for the Nvidia Quadro P2000 with 5GB GDDR5 memory and four DisplayPort outputs. Integrated Intel i219 Gigabit Ethernet and Realtek ALC3234 audio handle wired networking and sound without add-in cards. The mid-tower chassis uses standard mounting points for straightforward service access.

Questions about this item

Will the LGA 2066 Xeon W-2133 work with my existing DDR4 2666 ECC modules?

Yes, the board has 8 DDR4 slots running at 2666 MHz and supports registered ECC up to 256 GB, so your current modules will be compatible.

How can I verify the Quadro P2000 is running at full 5 GB GDDR5 and 160-bit width after install?

Open NVIDIA Control Panel or GPU-Z; both will report 5 GB GDDR5 memory and a 160-bit bus if the card is operating correctly.

Does the 950 W 80 Plus Gold PSU include the extra PCIe power cables the P2000 needs?

The workstation ships with the PSU and all factory cables installed; the Quadro P2000 draws power from the motherboard slot and does not require separate PCIe connectors.
