Mobile workstation with RTX A3000

The Dell Precision 7760 is a 17.3 inch mobile workstation built for professionals who need certified graphics and a large screen. It pairs an Intel Core i7-11850H processor with 32 GB DDR4 memory and an NVIDIA RTX A3000 GPU with 6 GB GDDR6. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a 256 GB NVMe SSD.

Thunderbolt 4 and display outputs

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports and an HDMI 2.1 port sit alongside a Mini DisplayPort 1.4 for multi-monitor setups. Three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports handle peripherals while Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 802.11ax with Bluetooth 5.2 cover wired and wireless networking. The single NVMe slot and soldered memory limit internal expansion.

Sustained load on 6-core processor

The six-core CPU reaches 4.80 GHz turbo but will throttle under continuous multi-threaded work to manage heat in the chassis. RTX A3000 performance stays stable for long render or simulation sessions thanks to workstation drivers. The 60 Hz FHD panel keeps power draw lower than high-refresh alternatives.

Questions about this item

How long will the i7-11850H sustain its 4.80 GHz turbo before heat forces it down?

The 6-core i7-11850H reaches 4.80 GHz turbo, but sustained clocks depend on the Precision 7760 cooling design and workload.

What fan noise and surface temperatures should I expect during an all-day render on the RTX A3000?

The RTX A3000 6 GB GDDR6 and i7-11850H share the Precision 7760 thermal system; expect audible fans and warm palm rests under continuous load.

Which dock or monitor cables must I already own to drive two external 1080p screens at 60 Hz?

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports and HDMI 2.1 plus Mini DisplayPort 1.4 are built in; bring Thunderbolt 4 or DisplayPort cables for dual 1920 x 1080 60 Hz output.
