A tower workstation with a 14-core Xeon processor, 16GB DDR4 memory, 2TB SATA storage and Nvidia NVS 310 graphics
CPU Name Intel Xeon E5-2660 v4
Memory Capacity 16GB DDR4
HDD 2TB
The Dell Precision T7910 is a tower workstation built around a single Intel Xeon E5-2660 v4 processor with 14 cores at 2 GHz. Hyperthreading provides 28 virtual cores for parallel workloads. It ships with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed and 16 GB of DDR4 memory. The system targets professionals running multi-threaded applications.
Memory runs in quad-channel mode up to 2400 MHz with ECC support when two CPUs are fitted. The board offers 16 DIMM slots, eight per processor, allowing expansion to 1 TB total capacity. Current configuration uses 16 GB, leaving ample headroom for larger datasets. Single-processor operation reduces maximum bandwidth and slot count.
A 2 TB 7.2K RPM SATA drive provides bulk storage; the chassis supports up to four 3.5-inch or eight 2.5-inch SATA/SAS drives plus four M.2 PCIe SSDs with an optional controller. Integrated LSI SAS 3008 handles RAID 0, 1, 10. The NVIDIA NVS 310 with 512 MB drives two DisplayPort monitors for 2D productivity, not 3D rendering.

Other versions of this model
The system ships with 16 GB DDR4 and has 16 DIMM slots supporting up to 1 TB total when both CPU sockets are populated.
Fourteen physical cores with Hyperthreading provide 28 logical threads for multi-threaded applications such as rendering or simulation.
The integrated controllers run at 6 Gb/s SATA, so the 2 TB 7.2K drive and any additional SATA or SAS drives are capped at that throughput.
