Dell Pro Micro QCM1250

This compact desktop combines an Intel Core Ultra 5 235T processor with 16GB DDR5 memory and an 8TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 provide wireless connectivity while a wired RJ-45 port is also present. The 90W power supply fits inside the 7 x 7.2 x 1.5 inch chassis.

Sustained-load behaviour

The 14-core 14-thread CPU reaches 5 GHz turbo for short bursts but settles at the 2.20 GHz base under continuous work. Shared Intel Graphics uses system memory so heavy graphical tasks reduce bandwidth available to compute. The 90W supply limits total platform power so extended all-core loads will throttle to stay within the thermal envelope.

Installation notes

The unit ships with a USB keyboard and mouse so first boot only requires a display via HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort. Two USB 3.2 Type-C and two USB 2.0 ports handle peripherals while the included Dockztorm hub adds extra 5 Gbps connections. Builders who need discrete graphics or internal drive bays cannot expand this sealed mini chassis.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power does the 90W PSU and Ultra 5-235T draw during all-day use?

The 90W power supply and 14-core Ultra 5-235T are designed for sustained mini-PC workloads; the 1.5-inch tall chassis uses an integrated thermal solution to manage heat without a large fan profile.

What display cables or adapters must I already own to connect a monitor?

You need an HDMI 2.1 cable or a DisplayPort cable; the mini desktop has one port of each and no other video outputs.

Will my USB 2.0 keyboard, mouse and legacy USB-A drives work with the 2 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.2 Type-C ports?

Yes — the two USB 2.0 ports accept legacy peripherals directly, and the two USB 3.2 Type-C ports support USB-A devices through a standard adapter or the included Dockztorm hub.
