SKU CH-JR0S-5KAT8 MPN RYMG6

550-watt hot-swap server PSU for PowerEdge R320 and R420, single fan cooling

  • 550 W output powers Dell PowerEdge R320 and R420 servers
  • Hot-swap RPS design lets you replace the unit without downtime
  • Single fan cooling keeps temperatures stable under load
  • New condition ensures full rated performance from first use
  • Model RYMG6 M95X4 matches original Dell part specifications

550 W hot-swap server power supply

The Dell RYMG6 delivers up to 550 W of AC power in a redundant hot-swap form factor. A single internal fan provides cooling while the unit remains replaceable without shutting down the server. It is built for Dell PowerEdge R320 and R420 platforms that require a redundant supply.

Compatibility and redundancy

This unit suits administrators maintaining PowerEdge R320 or R420 systems that use the RPS hot-swap design. It will not fit servers that require a different form factor, a non-redundant fixed supply, or a higher wattage rating than 550 W.

550 W maximum output

The 550 W rating is the decisive specification; the server’s total component draw must stay within this limit for reliable operation. If the configuration demands more power, this supply cannot support it.
