This Dell UC05U adapter delivers up to 30 watts across seven selectable DC voltages from 3 V to 12 V at a maximum of 2 A. It accepts global AC input from 100 to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz. The unit is intended for routers, LED strips, CCTV cameras, set-top boxes, GPS units, USB hubs and similar 3 V to 12 V household electronics.
Compact black housing
The adapter weighs 140 grams and measures 14.33 in wide by 12.83 in high by 9.06 in deep. A fixed 5 in cord terminates in a DC jack that accepts eight interchangeable barrel plugs covering sizes such as 5.5×2.5 mm, 4.8×1.7 mm, 4.0×1.7 mm and 3.0×1.1 mm plus a micro-USB tip and an LED terminal. The plug selector tool locks the output voltage to match the device label exactly.
Limited to centre-positive loads up to 12 V and 2 A
The adapter only supports centre-positive polarity; it will not power centre-negative devices such as some piano keyboards or guitar pedals. Output above 12 V is not available, so 19 V laptops and higher-voltage equipment cannot be used. The selector must be set to the exact voltage printed on the target device; an incorrect setting can damage the connected equipment.
