  • Keep one adapter at the office and one at home to avoid carrying it daily

  • Compact 1 × 3 × 6.1 inch brick weighs only 1.15 lb for easy travel
  • Replaces OEM parts VJCH5 VNM7N 2TXJ7 D232H JU012 X408G 330-1830 331-5817

Purpose and audience

This 130-watt AC adapter replaces or supplements the original charger for compatible Dell notebooks. It suits professionals who keep one unit at a desk and carry another for travel, removing the need to unplug and repack a single brick every day. Buyers who need a higher-wattage supply for larger workstations or a USB-C power solution will not find that capability here.

Deciding specification

The adapter delivers a maximum output of 130 W through a barrel-style connector and includes a 6 ft power cord. Compatibility is limited to the Dell notebook models listed in the OEM part-number cross-reference such as VJCH5, VNM7N and 330-1830; attempting to use it with systems that require a different voltage, connector or communication protocol will not work.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The unit operates silently because it has no moving parts and draws only the AC current needed to supply up to 130 W to the notebook. Its compact enclosure measuring 1 by 3 by 6.1 inches and weighing approximately 1.15 lb dissipates heat through passive convection, so surface temperature stays modest during normal charging and system use.
