Dell XPS 9710 17-inch laptop

The Dell XPS 9710 is a 17-inch laptop built around an Intel Core i7-11800H 8-core processor that reaches 4.6 GHz with Turbo Boost. It ships with 32 GB of memory and a 960 GB solid-state drive. A dedicated Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 GPU with 4 GB GDDR6 handles graphics duties. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the Silver chassis.

Suits mobile creators needing GPU power

The 17.0-inch 1920 x 1200 non-touch display and discrete RTX 3050 suit professionals editing video or running 3D workloads away from a desk. Buyers who want a touchscreen, a larger storage volume or a higher-wattage graphics solution should look elsewhere. The 802.11ac wireless and Bluetooth support standard peripheral connections.

960 GB SSD capacity decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 960 GB solid-state drive. That capacity fixes the total space available for the operating system, applications and active project files. If your workflow demands more local storage, this unit will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the i7-11800H is reaching its 4.6 GHz turbo frequency under load?

Open Windows Task Manager, select the Performance tab, and watch the CPU clock speed while running a demanding task; it should climb toward 4.6 GHz when thermal headroom allows.

What accessories are included in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The laptop ships with the 17.0" FHD+ non-touch display, i7-11800H processor, 32GB memory, 960GB SSD, RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6 graphics, Windows 11 Pro, integrated webcam, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a power adapter; no other items are bundled.
