Dell PowerEdge C6100 rail kit

The DELL Y3Dx1 rail kit provides the mounting hardware required to install a PowerEdge C6100 server into a standard rack enclosure. It is intended for system integrators and IT teams deploying or maintaining this specific server platform in a data-centre or server-room environment. The kit secures the chassis on sliding rails for straightforward insertion and service access.

Sustained-load behaviour

Under continuous operation the rails bear the full weight of the populated chassis without deformation, keeping alignment stable during extended thermal cycles. Repeated slide-out cycles for maintenance do not degrade the locking mechanism or rail straightness. The steel construction resists fatigue from constant vibration and the static load of a fully configured 6100 system.
