Questions about this item

Does this USB microphone need any driver or software installed before I can use it?

The Dericam M1 is plug-and-play, so it works immediately when connected to a USB port without extra drivers or software.

Will the 360° omnidirectional pickup still capture my voice clearly if I keep using my existing desktop speakers during calls?

The 360° condenser capsule picks up sound from every direction, so speaker output can be heard by the mic; using headphones or lowering speaker volume prevents echo.
