Questions about this item

How often will the polyurethane coating on the bamboo desktop need re-application to resist scratches and spills?

The polyurethane protective coating is applied at the factory and is designed to prevent damage from scratches, spills, watermarks and small accidents for the life of the desk without re-application.

What component limits the desk's ability to support heavy equipment continuously across the 60 x 30 x 62 x 20 in surface?

The BIFMA compliant steel frame and adjustable leveling feet provide the structural limit, engineered to support daily workstation activities and maintain stability on uneven floors.

Does the fixed-height steel frame produce any hum or heat when monitors and computers run all day?

No, the desk has no electrical components, fans or moving parts, so it generates zero noise, heat or power draw regardless of how long equipment sits on the bamboo surface.
