Automatic Retractable Cord Reel

The DEWENWILS DL-610 is a 50-foot retractable cord reel built for workshops and garages where a tidy, reachable power supply is needed. Its auto-guide mechanism rewinds the cord smoothly and locks it at any length with an adjustable stopper. A 180-degree swivel bracket lets the unit mount on a wall or ceiling and pivot so the cord can be pulled from multiple directions. The green SJTOW jacket resists oil, water, UV light and stays flexible in low temperatures.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The reel carries a 14AWG/3C cord rated for 13 amps at 125 volts, delivering up to 1625 watts to the lighted triple-tap outlet. A built-in 13-amp circuit breaker cuts power automatically when the combined load exceeds the rating and can be reset with a push button. The SJTOW insulation is designed to remain pliable in cold conditions, reducing the risk of stiff or brittle cable during normal indoor or dry-location use. No moving parts generate audible noise beyond the ratchet click.

Replaces Fixed Extension Cords

This unit replaces tangled fixed-length extension cords and static power strips that clutter bench space and create trip hazards. The jump is worth it when you need a single, always-ready 50-foot reach that retracts out of the way after each task. It is not suited for buyers who need permanent outdoor installation or a longer run than the supplied 50-foot cord plus 4.5-foot lead-in allows.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DL-610 and what is the step people often miss?

Mount the separate 180° swivel bracket to wall or ceiling first, then attach the reel; the step often missed is securing the bracket firmly so the 13-pound unit cannot shift under cord tension.

What maintenance or replacement will the DL-610 need later?

The SJTOW cord resists oil, water, UV and ozone, so only periodic visual checks for cuts or abrasion are required; the 13A circuit breaker is resettable and does not need replacement unless it fails to trip.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy use of the DL-610?

The built-in 13A circuit breaker will trip when total connected load exceeds 1625W at 125V, cutting power before the cord or outlets overheat.
