50 FT 14AWG retractable cord reel

The DEWENWILS ZX-ZD150B is a 50 FT 14AWG electrician tool built for workshops, garages and job sites. A twist-lock stopper locks the cord at any length and prevents snapback during retraction. The 180° swivel bracket mounts on walls or ceilings for flexible positioning. ETL listing and a built-in 13 A circuit breaker add certified overload protection.

Continuous load behaviour up to 13 A

The SJTOW cord is rated for 13 A at 125 V, delivering up to 1625 W without tripping the integrated breaker. The twist-lock mechanism holds the selected length securely while tools draw steady current. Oil, water and abrasion resistance keep the cable performing in harsh indoor or outdoor conditions. The triple-tap outlet with power indicator confirms live status throughout the run.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

Passive air cooling keeps the reel housing at safe temperatures during continuous 13 A operation. No fan means silent performance in noise-sensitive areas. The manual retract action requires no standby power, drawing energy only when loads are connected. The 6.1 kg polypropylene case remains stable on the swivel bracket during daily extension and retraction cycles.

Questions about this item

Does the 13 A circuit breaker trip if the reel runs all day near its 1625 W limit?

The built-in breaker cuts power automatically when the total load exceeds 13 A at 125 V, protecting the cord during continuous use.

What mounting hardware must I already have to install the 180° swivel bracket on a ceiling?

The reel includes the metal swivel bracket; you only need suitable screws or bolts for your ceiling material.

Can I plug a legacy tool with a two-prong plug into the triple-tap outlet on this 14 AWG reel?

Yes, the three grounded outlets accept standard two-prong or three-prong plugs up to the 13 A rating.
