Manual Foam Dispenser for High-Traffic Washrooms

The Dial 1700 is a wall-mounted manual dispenser that delivers foam soap from a 1.7 L refill. Its smoke-coloured plastic housing suits commercial washrooms, office breakrooms and public facilities where a touch-free option is not required. The unit measures 7.07" wide by 3.95" deep by 12.66" high, fitting standard mounting locations.

Upgrade from Smaller Countertop Bottles

Replacing individual pump bottles or sub-litre dispensers cuts refill frequency and reduces plastic waste in busy settings. The jump is worth it when daily traffic empties smaller reservoirs more than once a day or when a uniform, wall-mounted appearance is preferred for cleaning compliance.

1.7 L Capacity Handles Peak Demand

A full reservoir supports extended use in high-traffic washrooms without daily attention. It runs out when the refill cartridge is empty, requiring a manual swap; the dispenser itself has no battery or sensor components to maintain. Cartons contain three units for multi-site rollouts.

Questions about this item

What wall space does the 7.07" wide by 3.95" deep dispenser need for mounting?

The unit requires a wall area at least 7.07 inches wide and 3.95 inches deep, plus clearance above for the 12.66" height so the cover can open for refills.

How is the dispenser secured to the wall and what step is often missed?

Mount the back plate with screws through the keyhole slots, then snap the cover onto the plate; the step often missed is tightening the bottom locking screw so the cover cannot be pulled off.

Which refill cartridge fits the 1.7 L capacity and when should the pump be replaced?

Use Dial Professional 1.7 L foam soap cartridges; replace the pump assembly if foam quality drops or the mechanism sticks after extended use.
