Digi PortServer 16-Port Terminal Server

The Digi International 70000901 is a PortServer terminal server providing sixteen RJ-451 ports for serial device connectivity. It is built for IT administrators managing console access to routers switches and other network equipment in a rack environment.

Suited for serial console management not KVM

This unit serves operators who need remote access to serial consoles over an IP network. It does not support keyboard video or mouse switching so buyers requiring traditional KVM control over multiple servers should look at a different product category.

16 RJ-451 ports at 115.20 Kbps each

The sixteen RJ-451 interfaces each operate up to 115.20 Kbps driven by an IDT 3051 processor running at 20 MHz. This port count and line speed define the maximum number of concurrent serial sessions the appliance can handle.
