Eight-pack adapter set

This eight-pack supplies eight individual 6-pin to dual 8-pin PCIe power adapter cables. Each cable converts a single 6-pin PCIe connection from a power supply into two 8-pin connectors for a graphics card. The 22 cm length suits compact builds. The set is aimed at builders running multiple GPUs.

Suits multi-GPU mining rigs

The cables suit builders who need to power several graphics cards from PSUs that only offer 6-pin PCIe leads. Each adapter splits one 6-pin source into two 8-pin plugs, so eight cables support up to eight dual-connector cards. Buyers whose PSUs already provide native 8-pin PCIe connectors do not need these adapters.

18 AWG UL1007 copper conductors

Every cable uses 18 AWG UL1007 pure copper wire with PVC insulation in black and yellow. The conductors carry the current from the 6-pin female end to the dual 8-pin male ends. Both connectors feature latches for a secure fit. This wire specification is the detail that confirms the cable can handle the required load.

Questions about this item

Does my power supply need a free 6-pin PCIe connector for each adapter?

Yes, each cable draws power from one 6-pin PCIe output on the power supply.

Will the 18AWG wire handle the load of an older Radeon card with dual 8-pin sockets?

The 18AWG pure copper conductors are rated for the current those connectors demand.

How can I confirm both 8-pin plugs are seated correctly after routing the 22 cm cables?

Each connector has a latch that clicks into place; verify both clicks and check that the GPU powers on.
