It provides one terabyte of capacity using 3D NAND flash and an SMI controller. The drive targets users who need to upgrade older laptops or small-form-factor desktops that only accept mSATA modules.

Built-in data-protection features

On-board ECC, bad-block management and an averaging algorithm correct errors and spread wear across the 3D NAND cells. Support for DevSleep, SMART, TRIM and NCQ commands lets the host system reduce power draw and maintain consistent performance over time. These firmware functions operate without extra software installation.
