Replacement battery for Acer Aspire models

The Dr. Battery MPL01217P-25 is a new six-cell lithium-ion pack rated at 10.8V and 4400 mAh. It replaces OEM part numbers such as AS01B41, AS10B31 and AK.006BT.082 across a wide range of Aspire laptops including the 4745, 4820, 5553, 5745 and 7745 series. A built-in smart control chip manages charging and provides short-circuit, overheat and overload protection.

Suitable for owners of listed Aspire notebooks

This unit fits the specific Acer Aspire models detailed in the compatibility list and matches the original voltage and cell count. Buyers whose laptop model or original battery part number does not appear in that list should look elsewhere, as fit and electrical compatibility cannot be assured. The one-year warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

4400 mAh capacity with 48 Wh energy rating

The 48 Wh rating delivers typical runtime for everyday office tasks, web browsing and media playback on the supported platforms. Heavy workloads such as sustained gaming, video rendering or maximum screen brightness will deplete the charge more quickly, requiring more frequent connection to mains power.

Questions about this item

Will the 10.8V 4400mAh 6-cell battery fit my Acer Aspire 5745 without any other parts?

Yes — this battery is listed as a direct replacement for the Acer Aspire 5745 and matches the original 10.8V 4400mAh specification, so no extra components are needed.

Can I keep using my existing Acer AC adapter with this replacement battery installed?

The battery operates at the same 10.8V as the original, so your current Acer adapter that charges the original pack will charge this one normally.

How do I confirm the smart control chip is providing overheat and short-circuit protection after I install the battery?

The built-in chip activates automatically; normal charging, stable runtime and no unexpected shutdowns indicate the protection circuits are functioning.
