Direct Replacement Battery

This 6-cell lithium-ion pack replaces the original HP ProBook batteries listed under part numbers such as 633733-151, 633733-241 and HSTNN-1B2R. It fits models including the 4330s, 4446s, 4530s and 4545s. The unit delivers 10.8V and 4400mAh capacity for standard runtime. It is a new component supplied in black.

Build and Daily Use

The pack uses six lithium-ion cells rated at 48Wh and includes an internal smart control chip. This circuitry manages charging current and provides short-circuit, overheat and overload protection during operation. The form factor matches the OEM dimensions so the battery seats flush in the ProBook chassis without adapters or case modification.

Capacity and Chemistry Limits

At 4400mAh the energy reserve suits typical office workloads but will deplete faster under sustained heavy loads or high screen brightness. Lithium-ion chemistry gradually loses capacity over repeated charge cycles, so runtime will shorten after extended daily use. The 10.8V output is fixed; the pack cannot power devices requiring a different voltage.
