Solid 24 AWG CCA Cat5e UTP cable supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet up to 350 MHz in a 1000 ft easy-pull box
DRIPSTONE 600002 is a 1000 ft Cat5e UTP cable designed for installers running voice and data drops in residential or light-commercial projects. The solid 24AWG copper-clad aluminium conductors meet Category 5e specifications up to 350 MHz. The grey jacket is marked with a running footage count to simplify measuring during pulls.
The cable uses copper-clad aluminium rather than solid copper, so it satisfies Cat5e electrical tests for 10/100/1000 Mbps links but is not rated for Power over Ethernet or applications that demand lower DC resistance. Choose solid copper if the run must carry PoE or if local code requires it.
Supplied in an easy-pull box, the reel pays out cleanly without tangling and the footage markings let you cut exact lengths on site. Terminate with standard RJ45 plugs or keystone jacks rated for solid 24AWG wire; no special tools beyond a punch-down or crimp tool are required.
Measured against everything we stock in Ethernet & LAN Cables, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.
