DRIPSTONE 600026 Cat6 UTP cable 1000 ft

This DRIPSTONE 600026 cable is a Category 6 unshielded twisted pair wire built for structured wiring jobs. It uses 23AWG solid conductors and meets or exceeds Cat6 specifications for gigabit Ethernet performance. The 1000 ft length suits installers running data, voice and video lines through walls or ceilings.

Easy pull box with printed foot markers

The easy pull box lets the cable feed smoothly during long pulls without tangling. Running foot counts printed on the jacket make measuring and cutting straightforward on site. Four solid pairs with differing twist rates reduce crosstalk to support certified 10/100/1000 Mbps transfer rates.

Installers needing bulk solid-conductor Cat6

This reel suits professionals terminating RJ45 jacks or patch panels in fixed infrastructure. The solid 23AWG conductors are not designed for repeated flexing or pre-made patch cords. Buyers who want stranded cable for movable connections or shielded cable for noisy environments should look at something else.

Questions about this item

Will the solid 23AWG conductors need replacement if the cable is moved or bent repeatedly?

Solid 23AWG conductors are designed for fixed installation; repeated flexing can cause metal fatigue, so avoid moving the cable after it is pulled into walls or conduit.

What length limit applies before Gigabit speeds drop on this Cat6 UTP run?

Cat6 supports 1000Base-T up to 100 metres; the 1000 ft reel must be cut into segments no longer than that for guaranteed Gigabit performance.

Does the unshielded 23AWG design run hotter or draw more power than shielded cable during all-day PoE use?

Unshielded 23AWG solid copper-clad aluminium carries PoE current without extra heat or power draw compared with shielded equivalents of the same gauge.
