Kaiju Base Kit coverage

The Drop GMK Kaiju Base Kit is a doubleshot ABS keycap set designed for mechanical keyboards with Cherry-MX style stems. It supports standard layouts and popular custom form factors including 60, 65, 75, 1800, TKL, WKL, CP and MX-HHKB configurations. The set uses German-designed Cherry profile sculpting for a comfortable typing angle. Legends feature hiragana Japanese sublegends that reinforce the kaiju theme.

Build integration needs

The keycaps require a keyboard with MX-compatible stems and a standard bottom row or one of the listed custom layouts to achieve full coverage. Doubleshot moulding ensures legends will not wear off with extended use. The semi-matte ABS finish resists immediate shine while providing a smooth surface. No additional adapters or stabiliser inserts are included in the base kit.

Ideal users and limits

This set suits enthusiasts who want a complete, fade-resistant keycap set for a single board in one of the supported layouts. Buyers needing coverage for ortholinear, split or non-standard spacebar arrangements should look elsewhere. The ABS material will develop shine over time, so typists preferring textured PBT surfaces may prefer a different material.
