Ready-to-Use Packaging Tape Pack

The Duck 1259457 E-Z Start pack combines a clear acrylic tape roll with a built-in dispenser so you can start sealing boxes immediately. The 1.88-inch wide roll provides 55.5 yards of coverage for everyday shipping, moving or storage tasks. Frustration-free adhesive technology keeps the tape unrolling smoothly without splitting or tearing during application.

Split-Resistant Acrylic Construction

A solvent acrylic adhesive delivers 27 ounces per inch of adhesion to stainless steel while the film resists splitting and tearing under tension. The 31 pounds per inch tensile strength holds heavy cartons together through handling and transit. Ultraviolet resistance prevents yellowing and extends shelf life across a wide temperature range for reliable long-term storage.

Upgrade from Basic Tape Rolls

This pack replaces standard tapes that curl, split or require a separate dispenser, cutting down on wasted material and time spent fighting the roll. The jump is worth it when you seal multiple boxes a day and need consistent adhesion without the tape breaking mid-seam. Not suited for users who need removable masking tape or specialised industrial widths.

Questions about this item

What adhesive standard does the 1259457 tape use and what peel force does it deliver?

The tape uses a solvent acrylic adhesive that provides 27 ounces per inch of adhesion to a stainless steel test panel.

What core diameter does the 1259457 roll fit on a dispenser?

The roll is wound on a core of either 1-1/2 or 3 inch diameter, so it fits standard handheld dispensers with matching spindles.

How do you start the 1259457 tape without it splitting, and what mistake causes tearing?

Use the built-in dispenser to unroll the tape smoothly; pulling the tape freehand instead of letting the dispenser feed it is what causes splitting.
