DuPont Tyvek WR106GN wristbands are single-use security identifiers supplied in a pack of 500. Event organisers, venues and access-control teams use them to mark authorised attendees quickly.

Critical specification

Each band measures 3/4 inch wide by 10 inches long and is printed with green VIP text. The Tyvek material tears if removal is attempted, so the wristband cannot be transferred between people.

Installation and pitfalls

Wrap the band around the wrist, peel the adhesive liner and press the ends together for a tamper-evident seal. Applying the adhesive to hair or loose clothing reduces bond strength, and forcing the band over a hand that is too large will cause the material to rip before it secures.
