Duro 70223 Grocery Bag Bundle

This bundle contains 400 kraft paper grocery bags, each measuring 18 inches high, 8 1/4 inches wide and 5 1/4 inches deep. The flat-bottom design lets the bags stand upright on checkout counters or pantry shelves. They are made from recycled content and meet FDA compliance for direct food contact. The bags ship in a single package for high-volume retail or food-service use.

Replaces single-use plastic at checkout

Switching to these paper bags removes lightweight plastic film from the waste stream at the point of sale. The jump is worth it when a municipality bans plastic carry-out bags or when a brand wants a visible recycled-content claim on every order. They are not suited for buyers who need moisture-resistant liners, integrated handles or a wet-strength rating for frozen or leaking items.

Limits of flat-bottom kraft construction

The flat bottom provides stability but offers no reinforcement for heavy, dense loads such as glass jars or canned goods stacked high. Without side gussets or a defined basis-weight figure, the maximum safe fill weight cannot be stated. The paper surface accepts ink stamps or labels but is not coated for water resistance, so prolonged exposure to condensation will weaken the fibres.
