Two-Gallon Steel Safety Can

This EAGLE Type I safety can holds two gallons of flammable liquids in a red powder-coated steel body. The self-closing cap helps contain vapours and reduces spill risk during storage or transport.

Check Local Regulations Before Use

Verify that your facility or job site permits non-DOT-approved containers for the fluids you handle. Confirm the 11 1/4 inch diameter fits your storage cabinet or vehicle rack before ordering.

Suits Flammable Liquid Storage Needs

Ideal for workshops, garages or industrial settings that need a compliant Type I can for petrol, solvents or similar flammables. Not for users who require a DOT-approved container, an integrated faucet or a dispensing hose.

Questions about this item

Does the 2 gal steel safety can arrive with a funnel or hose attached?

The can has no included hose or funnel; the opening is designed for direct pouring and the self-closing cap seals automatically after each use.

Should I choose the red powder-coated steel version or a different finish for storing flammable liquids?

The red powder-coated steel construction is the standard finish for this Type I can and is compatible with flammable fluids.

How does the 11 1/4 in diameter affect where the can fits on a shelf or in a cabinet?

The circular footprint measures 11 1/4 in across, so allow at least that much clear width plus a few centimetres for the self-closing cap to operate freely.
