Product identity

The EAOYHGB 65W USB-C laptop charger is a compact AC adapter that delivers up to 65 watts over a USB-C connector. It targets owners of compatible HP Spectre x360, Envy x360, EliteBook x360, ProBook x360, ZBook and Chromebook models who need a replacement or spare power supply.

Sustained load behaviour

The unit supplies a fixed 20V at up to 3.25A when the attached device negotiates the highest Power Delivery profile. Lower profiles of 5V, 9V and 15V at 3A are also available, allowing the adapter to match the power demand of 45W and 65W laptops continuously.

Thermals noise power

The adapter accepts a universal 100-240V input at 50-60Hz, making it suitable for worldwide mains supplies. No active cooling is mentioned, so operation is silent, and the slim form factor keeps heat dissipation within the limits of a typical 65W USB-C brick.

Questions about this item

Does the 65W USB-C charger run hot or draw much power when used continuously all day?

The adapter accepts 100-240V 50-60Hz input and delivers up to 20V 3.25A at 65W maximum, so sustained load stays within that envelope.

What must I already have for this USB-C charger to work with my laptop?

Your laptop needs a USB-C charging port that supports 5V 3A, 9V 3A, 15V 3A or 20V 3.25A Power Delivery profiles.

Will this 65W USB-C adapter charge an older EliteBook 840 G5 that originally used a barrel connector?

No, the EliteBook 840 G5 requires a USB-C charging port; this adapter only fits devices with USB-C power input.
