Short Tube Lapel Microphone

The Earphone Connection EP1203 is a 28-inch lapel microphone with a 2-pin connector. It is built for professionals who need a lightweight, clear-sounding mic for all-day use. The design prevents moisture build-up inside the clear tube for reliable performance.

Security, Hospitality & Event Staff

This mic suits users of compatible Motorola two-way radios such as the CLS, XTN, GP, CP and CT series listed in the specifications. It is not for users needing a different connector type, a longer cable, or a headset form factor. Buyers with radios outside the listed models should verify compatibility first.

2-Pin Connector Compatibility

The single specification that decides fit is the 2-pin connector paired with the specific Motorola model list. Only radios explicitly named — including GP68, GP300, CP200 and XTN600 — will work with this microphone. Check your radio model against the list before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 28 in cord length or look for a different length?

This model comes with a fixed 28 in cord; no other length is offered for the EP1203.

What does the 28 in cord length mean when I wear the mic on my lapel?

It places the connector near a belt-mounted radio while keeping the short tube at collar height for clear voice pickup.

Which radios does the 2-Pin connector fit and what does it limit?

The 2-Pin plug works with Motorola CLS1110, CLS1410, XTN446, XTN500, XTN600, GP68, GP88, GP300, GP308, GP2000, CP88, CP100, CP125, CP150, CP185, CP200, CT150, CT250, CT450 and CT450LS; it will not connect to radios using a different pin count.
