Professional XLR Condenser

The Earthworks ICON PRO is a cardioid condenser microphone with an XLR connection, built for broadcasters, gamers, podcasters and content creators who need studio-grade vocal capture. Hand-tuned for precision, it delivers a fuller, richer and more detailed sound with extra headroom and expanded dynamic range. The stainless steel finish provides a sleek, modern look that complements an on-camera presence.

Build Integration

An XLR input on an audio interface, mixer or dedicated preamp is required to operate this microphone, so budget for that hardware if it is not already in place. The cardioid pattern rejects off-axis noise, freeing the user from heavy acoustic treatment in untreated rooms. Its broadcast styling suits desktop streaming setups and professional voice-over booths alike.

Sustained Performance

A lightning-fast rise time of 11.67 microseconds captures transient detail accurately during long recording or streaming sessions. The extended dynamic range and extra headroom prevent distortion when vocal levels shift suddenly, maintaining clarity without constant gain riding. Consistent output lets creators focus on content rather than monitoring levels continuously.
