Water-Resistant Lavalier for Extreme Conditions

The LORDWORLD DK5C is a premium omnidirectional lavalier microphone built to withstand water, sweat, make-up and harsh weather. Its 7 mm capsule captures natural dialog and vocals for stage, fitness, news gathering and demanding filmmaking. A locking 4-pin Hirose connector ensures a secure link to compatible wireless belt-pack transmitters. The bundle includes metal mesh, foam and furry windscreens, a protective case and two metal alligator-style clips.

Suited for Audio-Technica ATW Wireless Users

This microphone is designed for professionals using Audio-Technica ATW series belt-pack transmitters who need reliable performance in wet or active environments. The omnidirectional pattern excels at consistent pickup when the mic position shifts during movement. Buyers whose transmitters use a different connector type cannot connect this microphone directly. Users requiring a directional pickup pattern for high-gain feedback rejection should consider alternative models.

Locking 4-Pin Hirose Connector Compatibility

The locking 4-pin Hirose connector is the single specification that determines whether this lavalier works with your wireless system. It mates exclusively with Audio-Technica ATW series belt-pack transmitters that share the same pin-out and locking mechanism. Verify your transmitter's connector type before purchase; no adapter is included for other connector standards.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 4-pin Hirose plug to my Audio-Technica UniPak transmitter, and what is the common mistake?

Align the keyed notch on the Hirose connector with the socket on the ATW belt-pack, push straight in until the locking ring clicks, then tug gently to confirm it is seated; the frequent error is forcing the plug without matching the key, which bends pins.

Which included windscreen should I replace first when used regularly in sweaty fitness sessions?

The two foam windscreens absorb moisture fastest; swap them out when they stay damp or show discoloration, while the furry and metal-mesh screens only need occasional cleaning.

At what point does the omnidirectional capsule start to pick up too much ambient noise during a long outdoor shoot?

Because the pattern captures sound equally from all directions, wind rumble and crowd noise rise steadily once the furry windscreen is saturated or removed; the practical limit is the windscreen's capacity, not the capsule itself.
