Eaton DS7-342SX012N0-N 12 A Soft Start Controller

The Eaton DS7-342SX012N0-N is a soft start controller rated at 12 A for 240/480 V AC supplies. It limits inrush current on three-phase motors up to 7.5 hp at 480 V AC. Control voltage accepts 120-230 V AC and the enclosure meets NEMA 1 rating.

Suits 11 A motor loads up to 7.5 hp

Installers controlling three-phase motors at 200 V AC, 240 V AC or 480 V AC within the 11 A output rating will find this unit suitable. Applications requiring higher current, different control voltages or outdoor-rated enclosures should consider other options.

11 A output current at 480 V AC

The decisive specification is the 11 A output current at 480 V AC, which defines the maximum motor load the controller can handle. Verify the motor full-load current against this figure before purchase.
