Purpose & Audience

The ECbidbuy NK10 is a 7 mm diameter inspection camera designed for Android devices. It suits technicians, mechanics and hobbyists who need to view tight, dark spaces such as pipes, engines or wall cavities.

Deciding Specification

The probe is 1.5 metres long with a 7 mm head rated IP67 for water and dust resistance. Its fixed 3-10 cm focal range means it only works for close-up inspection, not general-purpose viewing.

Bundled Extras

Six adjustable LEDs surround the lens and can be dimmed to fully off, giving control over glare in reflective interiors. The Android-only USB interface delivers 640×480 video at 30 fps without extra software.

Questions about this item

What does 640 × 480 resolution look like on my phone screen?

The camera streams at 640 × 480 pixels, so the image fills a standard definition window on your Android device without upscaling.

How does the Android interface limit what I can record?

The camera connects via the Android USB port and is recognised as a UVC video device, so any compatible app can capture the 30 fps feed at 640 × 480.

Will the 7 mm head and 1.5 m cable fit through a standard spark-plug hole?

The probe is 7 mm in diameter and the cable is 1.5 m long, allowing it to pass through openings of 8 mm or larger and reach deep into engine bays.
