8.0 mm IP67 WiFi Endoscope

This 8.0 mm diameter inspection camera connects wirelessly to iOS Android and Windows devices. It is suited for technicians and DIY users who need visual access inside pipes engines or wall cavities. The ten metre cable length allows reach into deep or confined spaces. Waterproof IP67 rating protects the camera head during wet inspections.

70 degree view angle

The fixed 70 degree field of view determines how much of the inspection area is visible at the focal distance of four to ten centimetres. A narrower angle would show less surrounding detail while a wider angle would reduce centre sharpness at this working range. Buyers who need a wider or narrower perspective should choose a model with a different lens angle.

30 fps video at 1280 x 720

Video records at 30 frames per second in AVI format at 1280 by 720 resolution. The built in battery powers the six adjustable LEDs and sensor during extended sessions. The sensor operates from zero to seventy degrees Celsius maintaining frame rate under sustained use. Users needing higher frame rates or different codec support should select another device.

Questions about this item

What does the 720 resolution look like on a phone screen?

The 1280 by 720 image fills a typical phone display with clear detail for close inspection work.

How does the Wi-Fi link limit the viewing distance?

The wireless connection works within normal room range; walls or metal enclosures will reduce the practical distance.

Will the 8.0 mm head and 10 m cable pass through a standard drain pipe?

The 8.0 mm diameter fits most residential drain openings and the 10 m length reaches deep into the line.
