Inspection Endoscope Tube

The ECbidbuy NK9 is a 5.5mm inspection endoscope tube with a USB Type-C connector for Android devices. It captures 640 by 480 resolution video at 30 frames per second through a 67 degree view angle. The IP67 waterproof rating allows use in wet or dusty environments. This model is not compatible with Apple iOS devices.

Lens Diameter and Resolution

The 5.5mm lens diameter determines whether the tube fits inside the inspection opening you need to reach. The fixed 640 by 480 sensor resolution and 30fps frame rate set the detail level for close-up viewing. A 1/9 inch sensor and automatic exposure lighting handle illumination across the 67 degree field of view.

Sustained Operation in Heat

The operating temperature range of 0 to 70 degrees Celsius defines how the endoscope behaves during extended use in warm conditions. IP67 sealing protects the electronics from moisture ingress during prolonged inspections. Automatic exposure adjustment maintains consistent image brightness as the tube moves through varying light conditions.

Questions about this item

What does the 640×480 resolution mean when I view the camera feed on my Android phone?

The sensor outputs 640 by 480 pixels at 30 frames per second, giving a standard-definition picture that is clear enough for close-up inspection of pipes, engines or wall cavities.

How does the USB Type-C connection limit what I can do with the endoscope?

The Type-C plug carries both power and video, so the tube works directly with Android devices that support USB video class; it draws no separate battery and cannot be used with iOS devices.

Will the 5.5 mm tube and IP67 rating let me push it through a standard drain or engine bay?

The 5.5 mm diameter fits most narrow openings, and the IP67 rating means the camera head survives immersion in water up to one metre deep while you manoeuvre it.
