Eclipse Tools 902-604 Splitter 10 AWG 4/0

This Eclipse Tools manual hex crimper handles wire gauges from 10 AWG up to 4/0 for professional electrical terminations. It is built for electricians and technicians who need reliable, repeatable crimps on large conductors. The tool suits field service and workshop use where hydraulic power is not available.

Hex crimp profile limits

The hexagonal crimp profile is fixed to the 10 AWG through 4/0 range marked on the tool frame. It cannot accommodate gauges outside this span or non-standard conductor shapes. Users must verify wire size before each crimp to avoid under- or over-compression.

Transparent finish and California Proposition 65

A transparent coating lets the operator inspect jaw alignment and wear during daily use. The product carries California Proposition 65 warnings for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm, so appropriate handling precautions are required.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 10 AWG or the 4/0 setting for my cable?

The 902-604 crimps both 10 AWG and 4/0 conductors; choose the die that matches your wire gauge.

What does the Proposition 65 warning mean for daily use?

It flags chemicals California links to cancer and reproductive harm; wear gloves and wash hands after crimping.

How does the manual hex mechanism limit the crimps I can make?

Hand force drives the hex dies, so output depends on your grip strength and the 10 AWG to 4/0 range.
