Jonard Coaxial Coring Tool 6" 1/2" HC-50

This Jonard Tools coring tool is designed for professional installers preparing 1/2" coaxial cable. It removes the dielectric and centre conductor to the correct depth for connector fitting. The 6" length provides leverage for clean cuts on site.

Tool function and daily use

The hardened cutting blade strips the cable jacket and cores the dielectric in one action. This reduces the number of separate steps required during termination. Consistent core depth helps prevent connector failures caused by exposed braid or short centre pins.

Build quality and connector fit

The steel body resists wear from repeated use on abrasive cable jackets. The fixed 1/2" capacity matches standard trunk and distribution cable sizes. No adjustment is needed, so the tool maintains repeatable results across multiple jobs.
