Laminated 12 mm Tape for Brother P-Touch

This six-pack supplies 12 mm by 8 m laminated tape that prints black text on a white background. It is designed as a direct replacement for Brother TZe-231 cassettes and fits a wide range of P-Touch label makers used in homes, offices, schools and light industrial settings. The laminated surface protects print from moisture, oil, UV exposure, heat and abrasion so labels stay legible over time.

Suits high-volume labelling; not for wider formats

Organisations that label files, storage bins, cables, pantry jars or equipment in batches will appreciate the multi-pack value and the residue-free removal when labels need updating. Users who require tape widths other than 12 mm, continuous rolls longer than 8 m, or colour combinations beyond black-on-white should look at alternative cassettes that match those specific needs.

12 mm width decides printer fit

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 12 mm tape width, which must match the printer's cassette slot and print head. Only models listed as accepting 0.47 inch (12 mm) TZe cassettes — such as the PT-D210, PT-D220, PT-H110, PT-D410 and PT-P710BT — will work with this pack.

Questions about this item

How often will I need to replace the 12mm 8m tape rolls during heavy labelling tasks?

Each of the six rolls provides 8 metres of laminated tape, so replacement frequency depends on your label length and daily volume.

What environmental limit appears first when the tape is used continuously outdoors?

The laminate resists water, oil, UV fading, heat and abrasion, so the first limit reached will be the 8-metre roll length itself.

Does the adhesive leave residue on plastic or metal after the printer runs all day?

Labels peel off cleanly without sticky residue on plastic, metal or fabric, even after prolonged indoor or outdoor exposure.
