Dual-socket E-ATX server board with eight DDR3 1600 slots supporting 256 GB ECC, dual Gigabit LAN, two PCIe 3.0 x16 and an M.2 PCIe socket
The Jingsha X79-Dual is a new E-ATX server motherboard that accepts two Intel Xeon processors in LGA 2011 sockets. It provides eight DDR3 slots running at 1600 MHz with quad-channel architecture and ECC support up to 256 GB. The Intel X79 chipset drives two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots and two PCIe x1 slots for expansion cards.
This board fits builders assembling a dual-socket workstation or render node that can use DDR3 ECC memory and legacy SATA storage. It does not suit systems that require onboard video, integrated wireless networking or a single-threaded consumer platform. Buyers who need more than six SATA ports or a different memory generation should look elsewhere.
The defining specification is the pair of LGA 2011 sockets that only accept compatible Intel Xeon E5 V2 series CPUs. Without two matched processors the board will not post, so the purchase decision rests entirely on securing that specific CPU pair.
