Edifier W820NB Plus Hybrid ANC Headphones

The Edifier W820NB Plus are wireless over-ear headphones with hybrid active noise cancellation rated to -43 dB. They use 40 mm mantle-plated composite diaphragm drivers that support LDAC decoding for high-resolution audio playback. A full charge provides up to 49 hours of listening time. The foldable design weighs 220 g for portable use.

Commuters needing long battery life

These suit listeners who want adaptive hybrid ANC with seven-level ambient sound control for travel or office environments. The DNN microphone system handles clear voice calls. Buyers who need wired high-resolution audio without any Bluetooth compression should look elsewhere because the LDAC benefit applies only to the wireless connection.

40 mm mantle-plated composite diaphragm drivers

The driver size and LDAC codec support at 990 kbps determine the high-resolution wireless audio capability. Hybrid ANC reaches -43 dB attenuation combined with the enclosed ear-cup design. Memory-foam cushions use zero-pressure patent technology for comfort during extended sessions. Built-in microphones employ deep neural network processing for call clarity.

Questions about this item

What does 43 dB hybrid ANC do in daily use?

The hybrid system detects outside sound and generates an inverse signal, lowering ambient noise by up to 43 dB so commutes and offices become noticeably quieter.

What does LDAC 990 kbps mean for Bluetooth audio?

LDAC transmits at up to 990 kbps, far above SBC at 328 kbps and AAC at 512 kbps, preserving more detail when the source also supports LDAC.

Will the 220 g over-ear design fit around my ears without pressure?

At 220 g with memory-foam cushions and a zero-pressure patent, the cups distribute weight evenly and stay comfortable even during long sessions with glasses.
