Bone Conduction Swimming Headphones

These eEAR headphones use bone conduction technology to transmit sound through the cheekbones, leaving the ears open to ambient noise. They feature Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and a fully waterproof IPX8 design suitable for swimming. Built-in 16G memory allows music playback without a paired device.

Swimmers and users needing situational awareness

The open-ear design suits swimmers, triathletes and outdoor runners who must hear traffic or coaching cues. Independent left and right volume adjustment helps users with asymmetric hearing. Buyers who want traditional in-ear isolation or active noise cancellation should look elsewhere.

IPX8 full waterproof rating

The IPX8 certification confirms the headset withstands continuous immersion for underwater use. Bluetooth 5.3 provides a stable 10 metre connection range above water. Battery life reaches 10 hours at 70 per cent volume with a two hour charge time.

Questions about this item

How long will the 180mAH battery last before it needs replacing?

The built-in 180mAH battery delivers up to 10 hours of playback at 70% volume and over 10 days on standby; it is sealed inside the IPX8 housing and is not user-replaceable.

What limits continuous use first — memory, battery or heat?

Battery life is the first limit; the 180mAH cell provides 10 hours of Bluetooth streaming before a 2-hour recharge via the magnetic Type-C cable is required.

How hot or loud do the 16mm transducers get during an all-day swim session?

The 16mm 0.5W bone-conduction vibrators run cool and silent against the cheekbones; with IPX8 sealing there is no fan or vent noise, only the audio you hear.
