eEAR Bone Conduction Headset

The eEAR ePP-BC18 is a bone conduction headset designed for listeners who prefer an open-ear fit. It weighs 27.5 g and connects wirelessly with a Union AC7006f chip. The headset offers independent volume adjustment for the left and right sides, making it suitable for users with different hearing levels. A Type-C charging port and IPX4 waterproof rating complete the package.

Suits open-ear listeners; not for noise isolation

This headset suits people who want to stay aware of their surroundings while listening to audio. The bone conduction design leaves the ear canals open. It is not for buyers who need passive noise isolation or active noise cancellation. The 6 hour playback time at 70 percent volume may also fall short for users requiring all-day battery life without recharging.

6 hour playback at 70 percent volume

The battery delivers 6 hours of playback when the volume is set to 70 percent. Charging takes 1.5 hours via the Type-C port and provides 300 hours of standby time. This single figure determines whether the headset can cover a typical workout, commute or work shift before it needs to be plugged in again.
